Written Examination

After the initial assessment of qualifications, candidates must undertake both a Written Examination and a Practical Examination.

The Written Examination is held twice each year in March and September, and the Practical Examination is held twice each year in June and November. Candidates must successfully complete the Written Examination prior to sitting thePractical Examination.

  

Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapist Examinations

A written examination will be available for dental therapists, dental hygienists and oral health therapists in September 2014 if required. Further details on this examination will be made available on the ADC website in due course.

Practical Examination

The Practical Examination is designed to test the practical application of clinical skills and judgement.

The Practical Examination is the final step of the assessment process.
